Everything you need to know about the paperwork for donating your car in KY.
To donate a vehicle in Kentucky, you must sign the title over to Bluegrass Auto Gift. The signature should be placed in the designated area on the back of the title. Kentucky does not require notarization for title transfers. Once the title is signed, it’s important to notify the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet of the change in ownership.
If there is a lien holder, you'll need to contact them to settle any outstanding debts before transferring the title. If a title is lost, you can apply for a duplicate title through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Here, we handle the paperwork, making the process smooth for you.
